I'd like to read b0g at work or at school, but often don't know
whether the new posts will be "work safe." I often just stick to
the forum because it doesn't contain any images. Sure, the b0g
hysteria should be shared with the world, but sometimes there are people,
outside my control, which may get the wrong impression.
So I was thinking that, as a voluntary measure, people posting journals
could put a "(safe)" at the end of the journal title if the post
contains no:
- Porn/Nudity
- Gore
- Excessive Racial Slurs
This would also help those who want to read posts with the above
content (like when at home).
Conversely, putting "(not safe)" might be helpful too, especially
if the work environment it tolerant... but not really tolerant (like
it should go in the offensive section).
Unrelated pic (longest ear-hairs in the world!):

No worry though, because the poster would lose the reader's
trust, and therefore the reader would simply avoid that person's
journal posts (at school) from then on. Plus, someone getting his
jollies off of that would be pretty sad.
You americans...always wanting to put warning labels on everything. No
fucking way I say! I love the fact that when I open a post I have no idea
what it will be . A good example , a post called " where did I park
my car" hell I laughed just because I would never have expected smth
like that. If you cant manage to browse b0g at work uni or whatever , then
dont fucking do it. Or dont get caught. Dont try to change everything just
because you are afraid that people will find out what a pervert you really
are.
This is purely voluntary, and if you don't want to participate, I
really could not care less. I for one will mark my journal titles
(the few that I ever write) so that people can enjoy reading/viewing
stuff on b0g in a professional or academic environment. This site is
certainly more entertaining than most "work safe" websites,
even without the non-work-safe material.
Yeah, im with Fanatic: quit being such a pussy. Either work like you
oughtta, or fuck arround blatanly in full public view. Pussyfooting arround
is for losers.
Also, b0g kicks ass because of the non-sequeter randomness and suprising
heinous images. NSFW makes everything lamer.
Yes, and I enjoy reading and viewing those too. However, Allah forbid
some of us actually find ourselves in places where such material may
not be all that appropriate, but at the same time be bored with the
truly tame websites that are left to view.
Again: if you don't want to participate, I'll just avoid
such journal posts, but tag my own for the benefit of others.
If people think they're clever doing that, we'll just
blacklist those people after the first time. At least there'll
be a hope of some decent entertaining material at school or work.
why dont you just clean your browser chache and use a proxy ?
unless people look over your shoulder when you're at work, then theyd
probably be pissed at anything that isnt excel anyways.
Oh I'm not worried about that, it's just that my monitor
faces the room so it'd be... inconvenient... if all of a sudden
some professor walks in and sees some clown with her legs spread and
her pants ripped on the screen. Nobody checks the cache or verifies
the site itself.
It was never a problem at my old office, but other places it would be
nice to relieve the bordom without having to resort to lame web-comics
or just news websites.
where's the fun in putting up warnings anyways? i get more of a thrill
with the thought i might get busted..heck..i've already had a
few funny glances my way and a few naughty ones too..so what are you afraid
of? b0g can get you laid if you play it right.
what about avatars which arnt exactly work friendly. I mean the post itself
might not contain anything bad but people are always going to comment and
link to shit which some people arnt going to be cool with.
If your at work you should be working, thats what your getting paid for,
and if your at school you should studying or interacting with outher
people, otherwise you should just go home.
