Stupid ass frauds!!
So very now and then I buy some stuff of eBay and have it shipped from the
US to The Netherlands. Never had any problems, until recently. I bought
something that was quite expensive so I wanted it to be insured and
trackable. The seller would use UPS. This would be my first experience (not
sexually, but with UPS. I wonder if anybody has ever had a first sexual
experience with UPS?).
Anyway this guy sends it out and all, and I track it until I read they made
a delivery attempt. Okay, I was at work, no worries. But when I get my ass
home, I don’t find anything telling me they were there. Since I didn’t know
what should happen next with UPS, since their site has absolutely no
information for the recieving end of a shipment (not of a fist).
Grabbed the phone and called them. So this student, trying to earn an easy
buck, tells me there should’ve been a note. So I tell him it wasn’t there
(nearly cried!). He checks his “system” (thanks for letting me know you
play doctor with ya bitch) and gives me my OLD address. WTF?! No problem,
my parents still live there. I give him my new address and go to pick up
the note.
Now this note tells me I have to cough up € 145 (just under $ 200).
Considering the item was € 300 this is KINDA steep. Called again, and they
said the were Customs-costs and taxes. Well slap my ass and call me Hank,
but 50%?!?!?!
UPS eventually delivered so I called customs what the taxrates were, but he
couldn’t tell me because he didn’t know which productcategory UPS gave it.
So again I had to call them to give me the specifications on the clearance.
They would send it.
The next day they called my: We have made a mistake, we’ll refund € 51
Okay, how the fuck did they all of a sudden find out there was a mistake.
And WHAT was the mistake, since they could’t re-evaluate the package (I had
it, remember)?!
I find this all VERY suspicious. If they are willing to refund 33% in 1
day, I’m going in for the other 67% !!!
Yesterday I visited my parents again, to find a UPS envelope. What could it
be? The customs documents? My refund?.......... Nope, they want an
additional € 4 because they “revalued” something (at least I think it’s
that, because apparently they refuse to talk Earth in those letters). Isn’t
it great, I have to pay € 145 + € 4, only to get a (first) refund of € 51 (
+ € 4?!). Still waiting for both promised stuff.
Anyone else with similar experiences? Or nude little sister? |
