I finished work early today, got home surfed the net for a bit, and then
decided to lie down on my bed with one of the dogs. I fell asleep, but not
really. At some point I realized that something was not the way it was
meant to be, I immediately realized that I was fully conscious in a sleep
state.
I have been keen on lucid dreaming for years and I know I’ve done it plenty
of times but I always forget about it when I wake up.
This time I knew I was in a dream and my objective was to test the limits
of my own dream reality. At the moment there are not many visuals but a lot
of sound, that until then I assumed was just background noise from the real
world. I was wrong, I went into what seemed like an audio diagnostic mode,
I could control the noise, I tried moving the noise source it was amazing
it was like the sound was flying around my head, better than any surround
sound system I’ve ever heard. I could make the noise come from any
direction or distance (I can’t remember what the noise was I think it was a
sort of varying tone)
Anyhow the sound was cool, but I wanted to see some cool stuff, cue the
hallucination type effects. There was this huge rush of colour, every
colour imaginable, awesome rainbow patterns followed by bizarre geometric
patterns it was insane, and I was in control of it all.
I then wanted to see what detail I could go into, I wanted a human face to
examine, for some reason Sean Connery’s face popped into existence, I could
view it from every angle and the beard had every hair in detail just as if
he was really there, I could see the pores on his skin and the refection of
his eyes. It was very cool. Why it was Sean Connery I have no idea.
I then wanted to see if I could make a larger environment and what detail I
could imagine, I was suddenly in an unnamed city with buildings and traffic
as far as I could see in any direction, I looked down and saw the asphalt
with a man hole cover, I could read the writing on it (cant remember what
it said) and see very clearly the pattern of the metal. I looked up and
tried to take in as much as possible with as much detail as I could, some
parts where a bit blurry till I focused on them then I could see it in
unimaginable detail, but when looking at the whole picture there where
holes in it, but as soon as I tried to look at a blurry or missing piece it
would appear and complete the environment.
Next thing I know I’m in my Dads old place running up the hallway towards
his room, I open the door and immediately realize that he’s in there
jerking off (I walked in on my dad having sex once when I was a kid, same
thing but he’s by himself this time???), I try not to go round the corner
but its hard I’m loosing control of the dream. I go round the corner and he
hides under a sheet, I gain a little more control and I’m outta there!!
Next think I know I’m with my girlfriend and things are a little less
scary, I gain control again and get prepared to have a little fun.
THE FUCKING PHONE RINGS AND WAKES ME UP!!!!
I woke up and answered the phone, then sat down at the computer and started
typing this journal J
I’m sure a lot more happened but the memory of it is fading rapidly and I
can’t really recall anymore.
That’s it hope u enjoyed it, sorry no punch line…

i've tried numerous times to gain control of my dreams while i'm
aware of them but it always seemed like the moment i became aware i was
dreaming, i wake up
the fix for that is to imagine spinning in circles and you can usually gain
control
also i found that if you want to remember your really profound and amazing
dreams in the morning, keep a small voice recorder on the headboard of your
bed (if you have a headboard) and as soon as you wake up before you even
have time to really become aware of your surroundings speak your entire
dream into the recorder
do that for about 2 weeks every night and it gets easier to fall into lucid
dreams
my favorite thing to do while i'm having a lucid dream is to fly
I enjoy flying as well, i used to be a master as a child. I kept a
dream journal for about 6 months, and i trained myself to wake up
after each dream so i could record them and a lot of the time i forgot
about them and reading them before bed the next night opened them back
up and i could have the same dream when i fell asleep only i'd be
in control. Some nights, i'd have 7 or 8 dreams, but a lot of
them would be small and boring. A lot of my dreams deal with either
water or factories of some sort with like, conformist teachers.
Keep a pad of paper and a pen near your bed, but do not sit up while
you write it down, or you'll lose the memory quicker.
I've gained control of a dream because I knew if my head had to
render a part of the dream I'd wake up. Other times I
didn't want to deal with falling out of a tall place so I forced
myself awake in the dream.
Last dream I had I was fighting all my mates back home and was totally in
control of my dream because after I could fully remember every detail and
still do.
i had a lucid dream once and all i remember was i was in a cabin with a
buddie of mines mom and i made a rug appear and dissappear by snapping my
fingers
Recently though I don't remember how the events went but I got hit,
maybe by a car or something and I got hit so hard I flew away, it was like
flying but I was falling backwards in blackness.. freaked me out. I woke up
and tried to do it again with no avail. It was so real I even felt my hair
move in the wind, dunno if we're talking about the same thing though.
You can't really control your dreams, you actually dream that you
control the dream, you have no control whatsoever. You can have some
control when you're half awake, but it's actually your
imagination and the brain not knowing you're imagining.
I like tripping.
I recently had a dream in which I got trough this old house and got in the
hidden underground world where skinheads ruled. They tortured and harrased
me and I was under some illusion that I cannot fight back. Then I finally
got trough the illusion and killed a skinhead with an axe and got out and
went to my friends place where we smoked some pot. There was tress in that
dream somewhere but I can't remember.
The coolest dream I've ever had (at least from the ones I remember),
went like this: me and a group of some other guys were smuggling some sort
of drug out of some weird futuristic facility (rusty Alien-type facility,
not some sleek cyber shit) in a big flat container. One of the facility
guards, a russian guy, was supposed to take care of our smooth departure
and make sure nothing goes wrong, but the bastard fucked us over and
exposed the drugs in our container. The second they're onto us,
we're shackled and taken into another room, where they proceed to
shoving our heads into rusty metal basins filled with ice cold water and
beating the living shit out of us with police clubs.
After that, it only got better: I was trying to escape the facility for
most of the dream which had sick amounts of gore in it, and all the time I
kept encountering Jesus Christ, who for some reason took the form of an ill
little girl in a stained white robe, somewhat resembling the girl from Ring
or F.E.A.R..
I dont remember most of the dream, but I know that eventually I fled the
facility, and when I finally got through the gate, outside stood girl-Jesus
with a nun next to him/her. I surveyed them for a few seconds, and then
Jesus all of a sudden emitted an enormous jet of puke, chunky green, and
the nun did the same right afterwards. Then I left the scene and the dream
ended.
That was fucking cool, I wish I had more nightmares like this, I love em,
they make you feel on top of the world when you wake up.
I've had lots of lucid dreams
I also enjoy flying but the coolest lucid dream was when i was for some
reason running away from someone near my old Seattle home and suddenly i
realized that this was all a dream and i started playing god. Creating and
destroying things around me , it was amazing. Some of my lucid dreams turn
to sex for some reason , minors , stars , you name it.
Sometimes my dreams repeat themselves , sometimes they continue or i see
the same dream but from a different perspective or angle
