Well everyone is posting about their work, so i shall do likewise -
although whether you could call it work or not is another thing. What i do
? i work as a nightclub bouncer in a very swanky bar in the city's
capitol, so basically i'm a paid thug :-D
my view which i spend looking at for 5 hours a night over the weekend
Or if you were looking back towards the clubs etc..

And are you one of those bouncers that punch people in the face for no
reason? I'vee seen that happen on several occasions. It was fun =)
bouncers can be pricks...until they are by themselves.
I got booted from a nightclub (the owner didnt like a mate of
mine-long story) bouncer was told to eject us, he elbowed me in the
back..spilt my drink over me, but had all his backup behind him. I
knew where he hung out. 2 weeks later, he sported a black eye with
stitches and a fat lip to work. needless to say, i havent been back to
that bar.

I did a stage dive at a bar once but the whole thing didn't work out
like I had expected.
Everyone moved and I landed on the floor, then some guy jumps on my back
and puts me into a headlock. I don't play like that. I reached back
grabbing his head and rammed his face into the floor, rolled away and up
then started punching the shit out'a him. Two bouncers grabbed me and
the guy got up. Whoops. He was a bouncer too. And not just your regular
type, no, this one looked like Dolph Lundgren! Well, all my fancy work
looked good but in reality it didn't even faze him, it just pissed him
off. After lots of commotion they decide that I was out'a there. I
know the drill, they are going to take me out back, which is a locked yard
with barbed wire on the fence and they have the key to the gate. So, Dolph
takes off first and he's telling me that "I'm a dead
man!", etc. He heads out back before me and the other two bouncers
that're still holding me by each arm. As we approach the back door I
see him duck his head out from the right side to look inside to see if
I'm coming. I summed that up pretty quick and I think he's going
to try and sucker punch me when I come out the door. With them still
holding my arms, not all three of us can go out at the same time so
they're going to push me through first. Right as we get to the door
and they're about to push me out, I twisted my body to the left and
forced the guy on my right to be shoved out the door first and CRACK!, he
takes one straight to the face. The guy is stunned but he doesn't go
down, instead he goes after the dumbfounded Dolph. As soon as that happens
the last guy goes out and tries to break up their fight.
Me? Exit stage left baby. Back into the club, out the front door and gone
into the night.
well , nowsdays we require an S.I.A license to work on the doors, which you
need "training" for heh, total cost for the training and license
just to do the job = £440 , also with the licensing you can't just go
and punch someone or you lose your job + license. I've only punched
someone once and that was because he sucker punched me first and it was
just a reactive punch . mostly i use arm/wrist locks or choke holds if they
are very aggressive - other than that i prefer to talk them out as i
don't like having to "earn" my money lol, but i'm
heavily into aikido / jui jitsu and kick boxing so if the shit hits the fan
i do ok :)
I do see alot of the old skool bouncers though who just prefer to kick the
living shit out of someone but i blame that on the steroids/various
drugs/micropenis/or that drunk people are easy targets. But where i work is
full of rich people so its very rare that anything kicks off so i have
quite an easy life down there and actually spend most of it checking out
the female talent thats abundant down there :P
IF you'z all want a bouncers attention... Bite a strippers ass...
I'm lucky I had friends to drag my ass out of there, because i was
shitfaced.. but yes.. looking back from our vehicle.. 2 of them were
staring right at us from the doorway.. good times in redlands!
