and this is what happened when a Ford RS turbo decided to overtake on a
blind bend in a country lane - hitting my mate at a combined speed of
around 150mph
and heres the ford
not pretty....
As it happened the guy in the smaller ford car pretty much walked away from
the smash, how ever my m8 wasn't so lucky...
basically his face and skull was obliterated, spinal fractures, broken arms
/ legs / ankles / wrists. His face smashed through the alloy steering wheel
- smashing the right side of his face about 3 - 4 " in . He
"died" many times while being airlifted to hospital and was given
a 5% chance of making it there alive - well he did, but was in a coma for
several months while the surgeons worked to rebuild his face and mend his
shattered body. they didn't give him much chance of surviving the
surgery or even considered him actually waking up from the coma, but
unbelievably he did both and then some....
having survived the coma and surgery he wasn't expected to be able to
walk / talk etc , but he could talk , getting to walk again was a slow
process but he managed it.
This guy has over:
30 titanium plates in his head and face.
150 metal staples in his head
several hundred stitches
is deaf in his left ear
blind in his left eye
Now he comes out and gets drunk with me on thursdays and pulls women like a
pro !!
an-be-fucking-leavable just how much shit the human body can take and
survive !
Kudos to the surgeons and nurses who patched him up - fixed him and still
continue to sort him out to this day. He can walk and talk as normal,
enjoys gettign drunk and apart from the facial scars and one of his
cheekbones being slightly higher than the other ( which is looking to be
fixed soon ) you wouldn't even know he'd had such a fucked up
accident...
just goes to show you can't plan too far ahead cos theres always some
cunt ready to come fuck it all up for you :)

Good he made it, a local where I live streetraced, and crossed a crossing
and got hit in the side by a passing car.
3 of my friends died, and the fucker who drived got 9 months in jail and
have now got like 5 speeding-tickets since the accident. Some people never
learn, what a fucking wanker, want to kill him everytime I see hem..
awaiting trial for careless driving, reckless endangerment, driving
without due care etc as far as i know they are looking to really screw
him over . he's looking at jail time for it :)

At a 150-MPH collision, it's amazing he lived. That is a
gnarly smashup. Even with a roll cage & racing harness, the G's
his body would have been subjected to could rip his brain from it's
stem. (ala Dale Earnhardt at Daytona in 2001)

My ribs started caving in on my heart, forming a concave chest
like structure, it got to the point where I could almost fit my
fist inside of it, but they placed the bar between the ribs which
actually flexes them out, forming a perfect chest (I don't
even have to work out now), fucking painful as all hell
though...now it's ok, but took a few months.
