A woman has been killed and six others injured in a road crash
that closed a large section of the M4 motorway for seven hours.
The woman died after the silver Mitsubishi Pajero, in which she was a
passenger, crashed at Junction 35 between Pencoed and Miskin on the
eastbound carriageway, yesterday morning.
One person had to be cut free by firefighters.
The six other injured people, who were all in the car, were taken to the
Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend and the Royal Glamorgan Hospital,
Llantrisant.
Both carriageways were closed leaving hundreds of drivers stuck in huge
tailbacks in both directions for hours.
Well i was travelling in the opposite lane when this was going on and
having a camera phone i couldn't resist a quick pic of the carnage (
sorry for quality - but trying to drive and take a pic without making it
obvious is tricky + its well illegal )
