Well , where do i start.. Spent over £500 on the legnum getting it legal
and making it faster ready for the road trip...only for me to break a
gearbox mount 38 miles from dover ferry port 40 minutes before the ferry
was due to set sail :( so dumped it in a service station , threw everything
into my mates jaguar and fucked off sharpish to the port.
France sucks, i can't speak french and the people eat cheese that
smells like ass..
needed sat nav half way thru france due to the jag being very thirsty and
the need to find a service station was desperate , so ripped the light out
of the headrest and plugged in my laptop gps :D
while playing the "look for places with amusing names" game i
scored heavily on this one
not the kind of windmills i was expecting in holland
Well some 14 hours later i arrived in amsterdam in need of sleep , looked
for a hotel and eventually found one that had room available for the nice
price of 400euro for 2 nights in THE MOST SHITTEST hotel i've ever
been in - check out this awesome view:
So DONT go to hotel alfa....
was everyone stoned out of their skull when they built this place ?
everything looked wonkey....
well next day went to the lowlands festival for motorhead and had this view
for most of it
which is cool cos i get to see the workings of things within the
band...also means i can take pics without being nudged about :)
i think that this is probably one of the coolest pics i've ever
taken..

all in all an expensive weekend, hookers were ugly , the cocaine was shit,
hotel expensive + shit, people keep hastling you for " a few euros
" when most of them were wearing better clothes than i do. Spent too
long travelling/getting lost to really enjoy it properly
Amsterdam - i fucking hate it
Flevoland / biddinghuizen - loved it !
France - always sucks
belgium - too much traffic
managed to limp the legnum the 230 miles home with the broken gbox mount ,
and beat that shitty jaguar back in the process heh
back home now to proper charly, inexpensive food, nice comfy bed...

also took apart a table lamp in the hotel so i could hook up the wires
to the charger for my laptop....just hope nobody plugs it in while
holding it cos i just shoved the wires back in to hide it lol
