i had to sell my caddy
caddy was car #3 for the cross, and i did not have the time or the
resources to properly restore it. also, those of you who have been
following previous installments know that i will have to tighten my belt in
the coming months.
for those of you who have not been following along, i am blowing off my
60+hr/week mechanic job to become a full-time college student.
i start classes monday, so today was my last day as a full-time employee.
but since i am not a big believer in burning bridges, i will continue to
work part-time on the weekends.
in other news...
i had hail and freezing rain here last night, along with a brief, but
significant temperature drop. i think this summer season is starting to
draw to a close.
also...
i have a server
well, it's not actually mine, but it's my new project. it's
a dinosaur, it has about 10gig of total hard drive space, and i know
absolutely nothing about servers, so it ought to be an interesting
project.

You should’ve kept the Caddy! At the very least you could’ve turned it into

So, instead of the Deathmobile you could’ve a made it the Caddy
Cadaver Maker or some shit.
My best car some years back was a ’67 RS SS Camaro. It was
exactly what I wanted and still want today. I loved that car! 350
with 4 on the floor, clean white and chrome, black interior with
the white racing strips on the seats, hideaway lights, rally
rims. Fuck! I miss that car!
I had a girlfriend at the time that talked me into selling it and
getting something that (say with high whiny chick voice) “We can
take out camping with friends.”
I still deserve to have my ass kicked for listening to her.
Girlfriend gone, car gone and I’m just left with a bad memory and
not enough money to buy another with the prices being what they
are today for the same.
But at least I haven’t made a mistake like that ever again. :)
Can’t get into the Z28. You’re better off with the ’73
vette. Now that I could get into! I was looking at
vettes a little while back but never did it. ’73 was
one of the years that had the body style I liked.
Unfortunately for me though is that I’ve got a serious
lead foot and have a hard time controlling it. Lead
wrist too. This is the main reason I haven’t gotten
myself another go fast car and/or a motorcycle. I’d end
up losing my license. :(
