i don't know how things are in eurob0g or downunderb0g, but any
college student in america will tell you that it is spring break here.
being somewhat older and a lot cheaper that the average college student, i
decided to fix my car instead of vacationing in Cancun.
i discovered that my mustang had a blown head gasket over the summer. i was
sitting in the drive-thru line at the local bank when i noticed white smoke
rolling out of my tailpipes. on a cold winter morning this would not be an
issue, but in 95° heat, after a hard highway run, this is a problem.
the car developed a miss after this, and i began searching for an alternate
means of transportation.
the car i drive now isn't a bad car, and it gets a hell of a lot
better fuel mieage, but i miss my stang.
the culprit ^^
you can tell which cylinder had the problem - it is the one with the nice
clean piston.
i have a lot more work i want to do, but we'll see how time and
ambition hold out.
i'm on the downhill run now, but that's enough of this for one
day. i'll finish it up tomorrow.
i'll be frying tires again in no time.

You didn't see that in your water temp gauge?
Last time I nuked a gasket at the water jacket, it superheated my coolant
& almost spun the needle off the gauge when I ran the motor.
What else is on the list now that she's flayed open?
