well, I just got hired in 'Destin, Florida" and I'm now
getting paid $11.50 an hour to pretty much pick up trash outside. Yeah, it
sucks been out in the heat...BUT...godamn man..I'm only 19(almost 20)
years old and I'm about to start making some serious bank(maybe around
2k a month).
At 19, do you remember making 2k a month?...legally ofcourse.
My origional job before this was stocking shelves part time at a grocery
store for $6.40 an hour..in which after 7 months I got a 5 cents raise(1$
untaxed added onto my paycheck..63 taxed)..so I said fuck it and got with
my gf's old man and asked him for a job.
I'm in training for maintenance technician...which..isn't really
my field of choice, but its a whole lot better than what I was doing
before.
The pro's about this is I am pretty much having to self motivate
myself to work.
the apartment I stay in is on the property...
I get 40hours a week, 45 twice a week along with call in which I get 70$
per call that I attend to; also, I get the opportunity to make 200$ just
for painting odd apartments over the weekends.
the downside is that I have to live with my boss..
I have to pretty much look like an idiot to learn
Put up with shitty comments if I do something wrong.
and rent is 400$ a month...which my new bank account is a shared account(he
can go in and take my money) under his name......
But, other than this...life is peachy keen.
I now live with my gf..and my boss...and my gf's mother.
hopefully soon I can get a car(2 months away from now?) save up some more
money and go to college, get a desk job somewhere here in the apartment
complex(they sit at a desk and play video games, bake cookies, and boss us
around)...maybe one day..who knows.

go to work on monday and spend the whole day with your boss,
including lunch. Go home and eat dinner with him, maybe sit
down and watch tv with him. Go to bed in his daughters room
and wake up the next day and repeat.
I'm pretty much spending more time with him than I am
with my gf...
I hardly know the guy so thats what makes it so awkward.
it's all in who you know though, the only reason i got the job was
because i put down that i know the vice-president of the company, even
though i only know him becuase my aunt lives next door to his secretary

man, soon you'll get your own place and once he sees you can run the
show maybe you'll get some boyz you can boss around. If not then you
at least has the satisfaction of drilling his baby girl
Minimum wage here in Brazil is R$ 360,00 (less than US$ 200.00)...
that's not even enough for you to get a shack in one of our main
cities' slums. Don't let the bastards get you down man, as long
as you're getting some respect and your life's improving,

There's nothing wrong with someone willing to do honest work for
money.
A good way to earn more money and be your own boss is to start up a
business (it is cheap to incorporate a business, just a few hundred
dollars) and do freelance IT work for small businesses. Most small
businesses don't have access to their own IT staffs, and they're
often not computer-competent themselves. So you can fill in that part of
their business for $25-$75 an hour.
Offer them the "full package" where you clean out their computers
of any viruses, trojans, spyware, etc. and get their computers all running
nicely. As a bonus, tell them about your abilities to
"defragment" their hard-drives to make them work faster, and do
other stuff. They eat that shit up. Plus, they'll be coming to you
to spec out machines for their offices, from which you can have their old
machines which are usually still quite good and you can sell off to other
people.
When your business becomes larger, hire some more high-school chumps to be
your bitches, and sit back and let them do the work. Then you can pay them
$15/hour to do $65/hour work. I already have friends who are your age,
doing this.
