Remember how I told you about my rowing competition in my last
journal?
Well, I fuckin WON IT! I am not even in a rowing club (in Germany all the
good rowers are in those), I just have rowing class in school and I got the
gold medal:
Last time I told you I would be really happy about 3:05 minutes on the
1000m sprint. Well, I even made it in 3:02,8! Thats a new school-record
:)
I wouldnt have gotten that time if there hadnt been this other guy who
almost beat me. He was right behind me and I rowed so hard that after the
race I fell of the rowing machine and somebody called the paramedics.
I was half-conscious for half an hour until I had to drag myself to the
podium where they gave us the medals.
The coach of the state-team was gonna recruit me right there, but I said
I'd think about it. It was fun to prepare for this competition but I
don't know if I want to have hardcore-practice every day.
I also like basketball a lot more than rowing.
But on the other hand the advantage would be that there are some really
influential people who have to do with the rowing clubs. If I was to join
up and make the right connections, that would be a great contribution to my
future career.
Well, on to something more b0gworthy:
This negro drew 'Bert' from the sesame-street yesterday in class
and threw it over to me, saying I was looking like that:
I got kinda mad and drew something myself on the other side of the paper
and was gonna throw it back to him, but this chick that sits next to me
told me not to.
I guess she was right:
Other than that, I didnt go out yesterday because of the competition today,
and today I'm too tired to do anything.
Wait.. thats not true. I wanted to celebrate my victory tonight, but I
called had time or they just werent there.
Oh and some guy just IM'ed me whos going to a chick's party that
I'm not invited to.
But thats ok I guess. I'm not gonna turn into a fuckin emo-idiot.
I'll just watch the second half of this bob dylan movie.
Speaking of music: What kind of music do you guys listen to?
I'm really into The Strokes and all this hip indie music like the
Libertines and all. But I also like a bunch of old stuff.
...
Oh I just got a call.. looks like I'm gonna go party afterall... even
tho I dont really feel like it anymore..
