Today I attended a lecture about forensic medicine. I didnt expect much
from it, but it was actually really great!
It was pretty much like going through hundreds of new 'offensive
shit' posts, but with a projector and a huge screen.
We were about 200 med-school students. Half of us were applauding the lady
presenting the pictures, for the other half it was pure horror.
The doctor who showed us the pictures was basically trying to shock us, I
think. But not a b0gger like me :D
Plus, she made a lot of great commets, too. Maybe she's a b0gger
herself.
For example, there was this old guy who had died in his extremely messy
apartment whose dead hands were still holding a flashlight. She said
'Well we wanted to know whether it still worked, but he didnt want to
let go of ot.'
And the next picture showed his arm sawn off. 'Now he finally let
go', she said.
There was alot of other nasty shit, too. Like for example how a woman gives
birth after she and the embryo have long been dead because the gas inside
her will push the baby out.
Right next to the auditorium, there is this collection of preserving
preparations with baby-skeletons, brains and 'water-head-children
'.
Thats where I study on campus.
