didn't work for me that time either, but now i'm on a roll. today
i have not smoked any cigarettes for 64 days. So i guess i'll keep it
up this time around.
I don't get you people. Why the fuck would you want to quit smoking?
(exept for the economical reason, that's a bitch)
They say smoking kills and stuff like that but it all depends on how you
see it. For example who knows home many times cigarettes saved my life.
Instead of crossing the street and getting runned over by a truck, I
stopped to buy a pack of these sweeties.
You only have one life so live it, smoke it and enjoy it.
But how you ever manage to cross streets when every time you have to
you buy cigarettes? I can imagine how someone is giving you directions
"go there, then cross the street, then turn right ..." and
you are like "oh man, stop, do you know how much money you want
me to spend?"
''They say smoking kills and stuff like that but it all
depends on how you see it.''
Actually, it doesn't. It is a proven fact that cigarette IS bad
for your health. Only dumb people would actually deny that(not that i
think you are). Of course, it won't kill every single smokers or
give you all lung cancer but it will affect your condition in a
variety of way i'm sure you don't even suspect.
And i trully hope you don't really believe that buying cigarette
saved you from several times from being ''runned over by a
truck''... You only have one life and it's too short to
be taken lightly.
Man, you don't know how many times my life was saved by NOT
having to spend extra time visiting a store to buy some
"sweets." The probability of getting run over is definitely
increased if I have to visit the store every week (day?) to fulfill a
bad habit (not to mention the chemical health hazards).
I gave up trying to give up.
I don't mean to weaken your spirits but hey, sometimes you need to
know which path has the least resistance.
Now I only smoke half a pack a day when before it was nearly two! Trying to
quit actually creates stress which in turn leads to the urge to light
up.
Ironic isn't it?! >:D
I meant what I said last time. "Best thing I ever did."
Don't give up. You just weren't really ready. Maybe this
time you are and if so, I think you'll find that it's not
that hard.
Again, good luck.
