Punched 3 holes on my wardrobe door so I being puttying(?) it. Soon I will
paint it also.
Fuck I'm hangover can't come up with anything good.
Well, here's a dark picture of my dirt/street bike. Which I soon will
make singlespeed yay \o/ and I will burn those fucking derailleurs and
throw them into the fucking ocean.
A Dirt Jam? Cmon you should rather have spent your money on a good ol'
'01 or '02 Marzocchi. The Dirt Jam sucks so much... Just sooo
heavy and.. well.. heavy. That should be enough.
btw I've never seen a Scott like that o0
I appreciate that you decided to switch to singlespeed.
Singlespeed ROCKS!
Atm I'm driving 32/12 on a 24" rear wheel.. and looking for a
cheap 20mm axle front hub =( eBay has none I could pay atm.. or want ^^
Yeah, it's dirt jam comp 80mm. I bought the bike kinda cheap,
it's a scott yz0 '05 and I bought it with everything on.
The fork is not that heavy it's just crap but it works for now
and I'm going to buy Marzocchi Dirt Jumper II 100mm when that
fork isn't good anymore.
The frame itself is a small-sized one very nice to ride on.
Right now I'm waiting for my friend to get sold his .243 Racing
frame so we can order some shit from crc. I'm going to order a
singlespeed-kit and a new saddle, the one I have now is fucking
hard.
Check out http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ they are kinda cheap and
I think they deliver world-wide.
Which DJ II? The '06? Well.. I don't know the newer
ones so good (as I am in love with my '03 Sherman <3) but
I once REALLY liked the '03 DJs (110/130mm of travel afair).
They are pretty light and imho look way better than these new
ones with stanchions out of steel or black crap.
Ye olde RST Alfalfa still looks pretty =)
Actually I am not driving such a "singlespeed-kit".
I built mine using two old Ultegra cassettes and a new Rohloff
chain tensioner (gawd damn tight).
Be careful which chain tensioner to chose. Nearly all of my
friends driving ss with e.g. a Point chain tensioner soon broke
the spring that it has in it (and which isn't quite tight).
Rohloff chain tensioners are the shit!!
Yeah I know crc. In case I have too much money one day I will
probably order some tioga rims and a pair of hope hubs and build
myself the pair of wheels of my dreams *drool*
Don't know this tensioner... it looks ok and DMR
is never bad. Actually I still like the Rohloff better, but
new it costs as much as your kit that contains all you
need ^^
If you want to keep your 42t or so chainring at the
front you might be ok with that 16t cog. But that thing
you will have to test yourself anyway.
