as most of you probably don't know and don't care, i have a
snake, and she eats two mice a week, but she goes off feed when it gets
cold. i can't tell when she's going to stop eating, so i have to
try to feed her anyway. well a while back, she didn't eat these two
mice that i bought, so i put them in a glass aquarium with food and water.
eventually i realized that i had a male and a female, because the female
was about as wide as she was long. she had 9 babies, and i left her alone
with them for 3 weeks, only opening her "nest" to see how they
were progressing.
supposedly if a mother mouse thinks her babies are in danger, she'll
eat them. she ate 3 to start out with and let the others live. so i had 6
mice. they were able to walk and were about to open their eyes when she
freaked out and ate most of them and mutilated all the others. i went in
to check on them and there were pieces of baby mouse everywhere and blood
all over. I thought she might have only killed one or two, but then i
opened up her nest to find that it was filled with more mutilated body
parts of baby mice.
I tried to take pictures of the carnage but my camera isn't working,
sorry :-(

I wish I could scare the human mothers around here into eating their
children (from their obesity you'd almost think they do). Too many
little demonoids running around and eating up the state education budget.
Replacement rate: 2.1 children per two parents (round that down
for most families).
Better yet, don't have reproduction laws, just remove the
tax benefits when having more than two children, and actually
tax more for additional children.
you're not suppose to touch them dumb ass, what need was there for you
to check them? I'm sure she could handle it without you or do you have
8 tits to offer.
And why does it get cold in your snakes cage, don't you regulate the
temperature with a heat lamp or rock?
and what type of snake do you have.
i'm a curious person, i moved a single piece of cloth about once
a week.. the first time to see if she had given birth yet, which she
had, and the other times to see the babies. I didn't touch any
of them, and it's not like the entire enclosure doesn't
smell like people already, the nest is made of an old shirt. and yes
i do regulate the temperature in my snake's cage, but i suppose
it's instinct for it to not eat every winter.. don't ask me
why, i don't know.
i have a royal python
when i refer to "nest" i mean a tissue box with an old shirt
in it, not the entire tank. There's always water in the water
bottle and plenty of food, she didn't eat them because she was
hungry.
i'm terribly sorry for disappointing you, next time i'll add
(no pics) in the title just for you.
fucker.
