Every once in a while we stumble upon something by accident that just sends
us into a violent rage. This is one of those things. "We Just Got
Bored With Playing Heavy Music" ?????? What kind of pink-cunt faggoty
is this? Heavy music is boring? AND EMO is BETTER? Take a look at one of

Jesus Face-fucking christ, this is a god damn insult to metal and it comes
at the worst possible time. Friday is the two year aniversity of Dimebag
Darrell's death. When he died every fucking artist, not just those in
metal, came out and expressed their sadness and love of not just DD, but of
the whole genre of metal.
RIP Brother Dime
Following his passing was a period of skull-crushing, baby-raping heavy
albums, nearly every one of which was dedicated or payed some kind of
credit to the late GUITAR GOD. Dimebag inspired a whole new generation of
heavyness, and he brought the heavyness out of everyone.
Apparently not Lostprophets. Infact Dime isn't even mentioned in the
article. I did some research and I couldn't even find a record any
member of the band mention ever mentioning him in some kind of statement or
interview. Fucking weak.
Don't get me wrong, I'm aware of the second fallacy too; that
Lostprophets was at one point heavy, or worse, that somebody might have
made the mistake of refering to them once as a "metal band."
It's the ignorance of the fucking title that pisses me off to no
end.

the sheer ignorance of the statement that busts my balls. They didn't
even attempt to word it differently, or explain their genre change in a
more respectful or intelligent way.
Also, it sends the message that they don't have the creativity to
continue playing the kind of music they built their fanbase on.
Basicly to me what they are saying is: "Heavy music is boring" or
"Heavy music is SO last year" or "Heavy music sucks,
dude."

Dimebag Darrell is rolling over in his grave over your lack of male
genitalia. You are an insult to all rock guitarists. I hope your tour bus
catches on fire and you all die becasue you are too busy trying to find
your hair gel and eye makeup.
They just don't fucking get it. Do what ever you're going to do,
don't do it becasue you "got bored playing heavy music."
Gee, I guess that Lostprophets just doesn't think heavy music is worth
it if they don't even enjoy playing it anymore.
It's OK to not be metal. I'm not calling out Phil Collins for not
putting grind riffs at the end of his songs. I'm not accusing Elton
John of being a faggot becasue nobody moshes at his shows. Mirgating away
from the genre you started out in becasue "it's boring now"
is a fucking horseshit reason.
I hope they get their asses kicked by critics, fans, and metalheads
everywhere they go.

heh thats lee gaze from the prophets , i was in school with him and the
ex-drummer ( chiplin ) when they started out they were called fleshbind and
sounded like biohazard.. they all come from my hometown and are pretty
decent guys - but their music does suck
dude they were fags even before they decide they didnt like heavy music
anymore, all they want in there 5 bucks and to fuck some 17yr old slut in
the back of a tour bus you didnt think some band that was pushed that hard
by there record label when they were initially released upon the endearing
masses actualy knew what they were doing? they will always be fucking
pussys as they were in the begining.
There's a fine line
between fame & fortune earned or stumbled upon. All should give credit
for their inspiration, successes, & the shoulders of those who they
rode on.
Myself, my flatmate and doubtless countless millions will be having a drink
on Friday in rememberance, those that can jam will play a mangled tribute
to the metal god, who took such kindness upon us to get us to Fear Factory
on time.
