On one end of the spectrum there’s the classic worthless douchebags. On the
other end are the nice people who don’t know how good they have it and take
everything for granted. This essentially makes them worthless douchebags as
well.
And you can’t forget the whole spectrum of worthless douchebags who fall
in-between both ends.
They are living human waste.
We are stranded on tiny islands in an ocean of human waste, and the water
level is rising.
Eventually we will assimilate into one giant mass of worthlessness, and
when this occurs, the usefulness of our existence will expire.
God will return to cleanse the earth.
And then the whole process will start over again.

"I think what you were trying to say goes something like this:
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of
the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of
ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that
we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction,
have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of
dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and
of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the
revelation or flee from the deadly light into the peace and safety of a new
dark age." -H.P. Lovecraft
Or perhaps this is closer to your title.
"The ocean doesn't want me today
But I'll be back tomorrow to play
And the strangles will take me
Down deep in their brine
The mischievous braingels
Down into the endless blue wine
I'll open my head and let out
All of my time
I'd love to go drowning
And to stay and to stay
But the ocean doesn't want me today
I'll go in up to here
It can't possibly hurt
All they will find is my beer
And my shirt
A rip tide is raging
And the life guard is away
But the ocean doesn't want me today
The ocean doesn't want me today"
-TOM WAITS
Also, I resent any comparison of the ocean to human stupidity. The ocean is
awesome, the "ocean of human waste" is not, and never the two
shall meet.
