I heard about it this afternoon listening to Capital. I think Blair just
apologized to him or something, but waving the terrorism act to deter
people is some scary shit indeed. I can see it spiralling out of control.
in todays standard it said that blair has appologised for the way he
was ejected but has refused to meet him in person. he said something
along the lines of 'i think that he should just accept my
appology'
Whether they apologise or not is irrelevant, the point is it
happened. And no doubt gonna continue to happen. Some very
vague, scary laws have recently been passed all in the name of
'terror'. The police and goverment now have too much
power to 'control terrorism'. The current laws were
already sufficiant. Western states are heading towards
totalitarian governements. Times are changing, not because of
terrorism, but because of our governments. It's time to act
before it's too late.
im not trying to defend blair, far from it. i think he has
turned into a control freak. he cant stand to give up all of
that power and that why hes gonna fuck us about for another
4 years instead of letting some other prick have a go. the
laws as they stand are fucking rediculous and need to be
stoped for the sake of our country. but there is nothing we
can do. we voted the prick in and he will never give us a
referendum about anything ever cause 'daddy know
best'
Pretty soon, even talking about these kinds of things on b0g will get you
thrown into jail. It is absolutley astonishing what people are willing to
give up in order to be "protected".
