So I'm finally here (since Feb 9) at my
local Welsh uni (I now know what "Canolf y dref" means :p). I say
finally because it wasn't all that easy. When I arrived in London on
Monday (Feb 7) it was already too late to take a coach to here. Luckily, my
friend was waiting me at the Waterloo station and I could spend a night in
his room.
We went to eat something in a nearby pub and of course, tried out some of
the local ales and lagers. After that, we decided to look for some party to
go to and chose a rum tasting party in the middle of London, somewhere. The
party was pretty nice and the caipirinhas even better...
We spent the rest of the night chilling in the streets and talking about
London. My friend has actually moved to London only two weeks ago.
The next day we continued our touring in London with our hangover,
discovering new places, shops, etc... and eventually I went to some coach
company to buy a ticket for the same day.
Unfortunately we then spent too much time in Camden Town
and I missed my fucking coach. The coach station is fairly
far from the Victoria subway station, having this huge suitcase to carry
around when you don't really know the city
was harder than I thought.
I left my suitcase in the station's deposit thingy so I don't
have to deal with that burden the next day. Yes, the next day, because
there is only one coach per day in whole London to my destination...
to be continued...
P.S.: I'm seriously considering moving to London, near Camden town of
course. :p
